The Forum’s Fellowship Programme is open to qualified post-graduate students and young professionals, and is designed to enable talented, creative, and entrepreneurial researchers to contribute meaningfully to the Middle East policy discussion and to join the Forum’s unique and rapidly growing network.

Ahmed Buhejji
Grand Strategy Fellow

Ahmed Buhejji is the non-resident Grand Strategy Fellow at the Cambridge Middle East and North Africa Forum. He is a Second Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, joining the Office of the Foreign Minister in June 2018. Ahmed holds a Master’s in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London and a Master’s in Business Administration from DePaul University.

The Forum’s Grand Strategy Fellow conducts research pertaining to the relationship of the MENA region to broader geopolitical questions of critical importance to the United Kingdom, putting the region in a global geopolitical context. Of interest to the Grand Strategy Fellow are diplomatic history, geopolitics, and current affairs.
